Accessibility Statement

We at Divine Lines (operated by G.N.Bellon) are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the necessary standards and guidelines to make our official website, divinelines.org, as accessible as possible.

What web accessibility is

An accessible website allows all visitors, including those with disabilities, to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with our content with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment. We aim to achieve this through the capabilities of our website's system and compatibility with standard assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have designed and adapted this site in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and strive to meet Level AA standards. Our ongoing efforts include making the site's content functional with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this commitment, we have:

  • Used accessibility tools to identify and address potential barriers.

  • Set the site’s primary language for proper screen reader interpretation.

  • Maintained a logical and consistent content order across all pages.

  • Implemented a clear heading structure to aid navigation.

  • Provided alternative text for meaningful images and graphics.

  • Ensured color combinations meet minimum contrast ratios for readability.

  • Minimized the use of non-essential motion and animations.

  • Worked to ensure that all multimedia content (e.g., audio clips from the Divine Lines audiobook) and downloadable files (e.g., digital art, book mockups) are accessible or accompanied by accessible alternatives.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content [only add if relevant]

Certain interactive elements and services on our site, essential for purchasing books, audiobooks, character art, and merchandise, are provided by trusted third-party vendors (e.g., payment processors like Stripe or PayPal, e-commerce platforms like Shopify). While we select partners with strong accessibility commitments, we do not have full control over their interfaces. Therefore, we declare partial compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA for the specific pages and processes managed by these third parties, such as the final checkout and payment pages.
